This is a map of Hospitalet's creative network.

Covering 12.40 km² with a population of 282,299 as of 2024, Hospitalet exhibits one of Europe's highest urban densities at 22,766 inhabitants per km². As the second-most populous city in Catalonia after Barcelona, it functions primarily as a densely built residential and industrial extension of the regional capital (IDESCAT, 2024).

The emergence of independent art spaces in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat began around 2014, driven by artists seeking larger, more affordable spaces than those available in central Barcelona.
